Tour itinerary

9:00 meeting with guide and driver at the hotel in Tashkent
9:15 Departure to the city of Parkent (55 km, 1 hour 20 minutes) where the Solar Institute is located. Large solar furnace, a truly unique scientific laboratory from Soviet times, which today is sometimes called the Physics-Sun facility or the Solar Institute of Uzbekistan
11:00 Start of tour of the Great Solar Furnace, a technical complex with a solar concentrator, a technology tower and a heliostat field of special mirrors that work in harmony to create a perfect coverage of the concentrator bowl with sunlight.
Lunch in Sukok – cafe of national cuisine
Walk in the village of Sukok. Sukok is a small village near Parkent, with a wonderful conservation area.
17:00 Transfer to Tashkent. Total tour time is 7-8 hours.
